Manna…daily sustenance for the Israelites as they journeyed in the wilderness. God provided just enough for the day they were on. Every. Single. Day. You can read their story of God’s faithfulness in Exodus 16.
Below you’ll find daily devotional thoughts for 5 days out of the week. Our goal is to both encourage and to challenge you with each devotional…to provide you with sustenance for your journey.
There are four components to each day:
Weekly Manna for Memory ~ I would encourage you to print and post this passage somewhere in order to try to commit it to memory. The week’s devotionals are based on this Scripture.
Morsel of Manna ~ will take 5 minutes or less to complete…perfect for drawing your thoughts to Jesus during those snippets of quiet in your busy day. We hope they provide things to ponder as you continue on in your tasks.
Meal of Manna ~ for when you’ve got time to sit with Jesus a bit longer…these extensions of the Manna Snack allow you to sink your teeth deeper into God’s Word and apply it to your life immediately as you meditate on the Scriptures and journal your time with Jesus.
Take-Away for Today ~ a suggestion for how you can take the manna received and apply it to today.
This Week’s Manna for Memory
John 15:4-5 (NRSV)
Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.
